I have been hunting for this specific snowflake design for ages. I love collecting vintage pyrex dishes and couldn't believe it when I stumbled across this pattern at a thrift store over the weekend. It was pretty dirty (like it had been in a garage for the past 30 years), but I ran it through the dishwasher and it looks good as new. I've been crazy about snowflakes ever since reading the Ezra Jack Keats book The Snowy Day as a kid. The illustrations still give me chills (no pun intended) — it really is a classic.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
